Friend Roulette killing it as per usual. Matt just performed at the last Nerdy Girl house show and apparently it was beautiful although I couldn’t witness it myself t=do to prior obligations. I did however witness this performance back during CMJ and it was outstanding. You can watch the whole thing basically on youtube. Great for a grey day like tomorrow or today.

Summer certainly is dead here in Brooklyn. Things are dying, people are losing hope, old people are losing their hair, the sun goes down way to early and we stay up way to late drinking shitty beer at our friends shows. Amongst it all echoes the beautiful dream pop of Eastern Hollows.

I’m going to go ahead and give the Silver Spaceman album of the year 2012 award to Sir Kn8 the Knight of the New’s “Horse Radical”. The third album recorded by the Knight and I think his most profound. His words so honest and flowy much like his lengthening lock and the music created by Slopwop and the Knight is oh so whiley and wicked. This song is called the Ever New and is my favorite track from this album.
